MARE Properties was established in 2020 as a strategic real estate ownership vehicle within the MARE HOLDINGS portfolio, built on the conviction that direct property ownership remains one of the most resilient and rewarding asset classes across economic cycles. The vision began with acquiring a small collection of short-term rental properties in the United States, each carefully selected in high-demand leisure and business travel markets. As the portfolio matured, MARE Properties expanded into Addis Ababa, Ethiopia's booming capital city, purchasing and developing guest houses, commercial office spaces within the prestigious Century Executive Tower on Namibia Street, and prime retail locations in high-traffic commercial corridors. It is important to note that MARE Properties focuses solely on ownership and acquisition -- the day-to-day operational management of third-party investor properties is handled by its sister company, Betweded Properties. Today, MARE Properties stands as a bridge between continents, building long-term equity through direct ownership of high-quality assets in both markets.
